How the CC Stats Trust Estimate Works

A transparent overview of the public signals, missing-data safeguards, and limitations behind the independent CC Stats trust estimate.

An independent estimate

CC Stats combines available public account and gameplay signals into an independent trust estimate. It is not Valve's Trust Factor, is not supplied or endorsed by Valve, and is not proof that a player is cheating or trustworthy.

What the estimate can consider

Depending on availability, the analysis can consider public ban history, account age, CS2 playtime, Faceit history, verified friend-list coverage, and statistically unusual gameplay values with adequate samples. Steam level, profile visibility, and inventory value are useful context, but are not treated as proof of legitimacy.

Missing data is not suspicious

A provider can be unavailable, rate-limited, private, or simply have no record for a player. CC Stats keeps these states separate. Missing or private data is marked unavailable and does not become a zero value or an automatic risk signal.

Friend-list safeguards

VAC-friend information contributes only when the public list and ban checks are complete enough to support the conclusion shown. An interrupted check is not presented as zero banned friends. Small samples are bounded so they cannot dominate the result.

Gameplay context

Gameplay outliers require sufficient sample information and are grouped by evidence family. Closely related metrics do not count as several independent accusations. Extreme values remain contextual signals and should be reviewed alongside match footage and source statistics.

Confidence and interpretation

The interface reports evidence coverage because a score based on limited information should not appear more certain than it is. A profile can change as public settings, match history, or provider responses change.
