CC Stats produces an independent estimate from public account and gameplay signals. It is not Valve's Trust Factor, is not supplied or endorsed by Valve, and must not be treated as proof that a player is cheating or trustworthy.
Signals considered
When available, the estimate considers public ban history, account age, CS2 playtime, Faceit history, verified friend-list coverage, and gameplay outliers with adequate samples. Steam level, profile visibility, and inventory value are displayed as context and are not treated as proof of legitimacy.
Missing and private data
Missing, private, rate-limited, or unavailable provider data is recorded as unavailable. It is not converted into a suspicious signal. The interface reports evidence coverage so that a score based on limited data is not presented with false confidence.
How to interpret the result
The estimate summarizes the public evidence available at analysis time. It can change when a profile, provider response, match history, or public privacy setting changes. Review the factor breakdown and source data instead of relying on the number alone.
Quality and safeguards
- Provider data is normalized before it contributes to the estimate.
- Incomplete friend checks do not become a zero-ban result.
- Private or missing data is not automatically suspicious.
- Extreme gameplay values are contextual signals, not accusations.
- Only a limited public profile summary is retained for profile pages and indexing.
Corrections
If a public profile summary is stale or incorrect, analyze the profile again to request fresh provider data. For privacy or correction requests, contact contact@ccstats.net.
